Paradigm Secure Communications
Paradigm Secure Communications is the world's first commercial provider of military band satellite communications and the only provider of end-to-end, hardened and protected satellite services, using X-band and UHF frequencies compliant to NATO standards.
Paradigm is the prime contractor for the $7 Billion Skynet 5 military satellite contract with the U.K. MoD up to at least 2020. Paradigm owns and operates the Skynet system and provides all worldwide beyond-line-of-sight communications services to U.K. Armed Forces.
The Skynet-5A satellite and Skynet-5B satellites are currently operational at 1°W and 53°E respectively. Skynet-5C is scheduled for launch in the 2nd Qtr 2008 and will be located at 17.8°W. Skynet-5 is a true military satellite system and it provides the highest level of protection and security currently available.
Paradigm is also currently supplying Milsatcom services to NATO, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal and the United States. Paradigm is a wholly owned subsidiary of EADS and markets capacity to U.S. users through EADS North America.
